AFROPOLITAN

Redefining African phenomena by placing emphasis on ordinary citizens’ experiences and Togetherness in Africa.

Creative Youth Festival (CYF) celebrates the creative youth of South Africa, Africa and the world. The festival is aimed at youth empowerment, talent development, entrepreneurship and stimulating an audience, as well as inspiring new creators in the arts industry. In 2022 we partnered with FAME Week Africa and MIP Africa to bring youth talent to the world.

Part of Fame Week Africa for a third consecutive year, CYF is aimed at youth empowerment, talent development, entrepreneurship, stimulating audience, and inspiring new creators in the arts industry, using film and digital media as the medium.

Creative Youth Festival 2024 initiatives include the YOUTH PITCH PLATFORM at FAME Week Africa, Art of Pitching Masterclass Series, 1-on-1 Pitch Mentorship Program, and the 15 Second Film Maker Challenge supported by Reel Partners NPC, Beyond Reel Entertainment (Pty) Ltd, SA Film Academy PBO NPC & RX Global.
